Stanley Silsby, Financial Aid Technician and BCA Instructor for the Lake County Campus, joined the Woodland Community College team in June 2017. Over 10 years of experience as a general manager has allowed Stanley to acquire a unique perspective and practical understanding that empowers Stanley with a passion to serve students and cultivate an inclusive environment of success and accessibility for students.
Stanley earned an Associate in Science degree in General Business Management from the Lake County Campus and is actively earning a Bachelor’s degree in Information System Management with Brandman University. Stanley will be pursuing a Master’s degree, which would allow him to act on his strong desire to teach at the community college.
Stanley was born in Napa, CA, and had been visiting Lake County since early childhood, driving up nearly every weekend to visit family, camp, and, explore and enjoy the Lake County wilderness. Stanley moved to Lake County in 2009, where he now lives with his loving wife and their young daughter.
